As a former Ministry of Education (MOE) Junior College (JC) teacher and a dedicated private tutor, I bring over a decade of experience and enthusiasm to teaching Biology. My commitment to student success is reflected in a track record of guiding numerous students to achieve good results, including securing top grades like A in their A-Level exams. I specialize in Junior College Biology ( H1/H2), and have taught Intergrated Programme & Secondary school Biology too. I deliver customised lessons & provide comprehensive notes, employing innovative teaching strategies to ignite curiosity, deepen understanding, and inspire a love for Biology. My goal is to empower each student to excel academically and reach their full potential.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from NUS and a PGDE from NTU (NIE). During my years in TJC, I was honored with the Caring Teacher Award in 2006 and received the Innopreneur Award at the MOE Innergy (Schools) Award in 2004.

Private Tutor

2008 - Present

Throughout my years as a private tutor, I have taught students from various junior colleges, including RI, DHS, VJC, TJC, CJC, SAJC, NYJC, JJC (now JPJC), MJC (now TMJC), and ACJC. 90% of the students under my tutelage since Year 1 attained an "A" for their A-levels, and 70% of my students overall scored "A" for their A-levels.
